WHAT IS GORE-TEX, GORE-TEX INFINIUM™?
GORE-TEX, GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ focuses on insulation, comfort and function. GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ is am membrane that protect your body from the cooling wind, the so-called windchill effect. The wind density of the textile is measured by the amount of air that passes through the material in litres per square metre and per second. Because even on sunny days, the wind can be quite uncomfortable and cause your body temperature to drop quickly. However, if you do start to sweat, the membrane ensures that the sweat is quickly wicked to the outside. The resulting water vapour can escape through the billion of pores.
The membrane has also a water-beading function. That does not mean that GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ apparel are fully waterproof, but they can easily withstand light shower. Some GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ jackets are insulated to keep you warm and comfortable for longer. This highly functional technology is not only found in jackets and pants, but also in gloves and shoes. GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ GLOVES are equipment with the Windstopper technology or with Stretch technology. Thanks to their excellent moisture management and extreme breathability, the gloves are very comfortable on the skin. Because of the innovative membrane, perspiration can easily escape in the form of water vapour. You are also protected from cool and strong winds, because GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ gloves are windproof. This means your hands do not cool down and stay pleasantly warm.
GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ GLOVES with Stretch technology have a close fit. The 3D moulded construction with only one seam and thin fabric ensures that every grip is problem-free. The GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ gloves gave 30 % less seams around the fingers and up to 35 % less material. The great thing about the gloves is that you never have to take off again. Whether it is tying your shoelaces, searching for something in your backpack or selecting the next song in your smartphone: With the gloves is everything possible! The gloves are even permanently waterproof.
